An unhealthy or stressed tree can become dangerous and in this weaken state they are more susceptible to disease, insect attack and strong wind. Unhealthy or stressed trees are a liability, not only to their owner but to everyone that comes near the tree.
There are many reasons why a tree can become stressed and these stresses then leads to a decline in the tree’s health. Most of the causes of tree health decline can be attributed to poor root health which can weaken the entire tree. A tree with a healthy root system is more robust from the tip of its leaves to the end of its roots and will have a stronger chance at surviving whatever we or nature put it through.
